COVID-19 Update 20

On-site staffing reduction

As we continue living with the pandemic, the virus creeps closer to our community and others around NSW. Many of our sister CEN schools in regional areas are dealing with online learning for the first time. Please pray for them and us as we journey this road.

Unlike last year’s variance, this year’s delta strain is more contagious and is affecting more children and young people. Subsequently, from Tuesday, 17 August, staffing at school will be reduced to an absolute minimum to reduce risk to all members of the school community. Our School@Home systems are working well, and students have good channels of communication with their teachers and Diversability teacher’s aides via Google Classroom and Google Meets.

Where possible, please keep students at home unless you are absolutely unable to. Thank you for your continuing support in the best interests of our community and State.
