COVID-19 Update 1

Dear Kuyper Families,

Yesterday, schools in NSW received advice from NSW Ministry of Health that pre-emptive
school closures are not indicated at the present time as an effective public health
intervention to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For this reason, our school remains open at
this stage, and we are thankful for the continuity of learning that this allows. Obviously, we
are monitoring the situation closely and paying immediate attention to all new information as
it comes to hand. We will seek to maintain clear and frequent communication with all our
families, as we journey through this uncertain and unfolding situation together. Be assured
that, as a school, we are committed first and foremost to the health and safety of our
students, staff and wider school community.
